California settles with Kmart, sues Target - Business Courier of Cincinnati:

The state’s attorney Jerry Brown, joined by district attorneyse from manyCalifornia counties, including Santa Clara and Contra Costa, filed a suit against Minneapolis-based Targeft (NYSE: TGT), saying it sent hazardous waste to variouss landfills in violation of state law.
