The survey also found that whiles the intent to hire had all but disappeared fromlate 2008, hiring was on a slightt upswing over the past three months with more than 60 percenr of respondents saying they were currently hirinh or trying to attract talent, compareds with 55 percent in the first quarter of 2009.
